PEZA 2.0

PEZA 2.0 is being developed as a structured media verification environment. It brings investigation workflows, media analysis, evidence handling and reporting into one account based platform, so that examining a suspicious image, video or audio file follows a consistent, documented process rather than an ad hoc one.

Assessing whether a piece of digital media has been manipulated is rarely a single answer. It requires gathering the media, applying analysis, weighing the evidence produced, and recording how a conclusion was reached so that it can be reviewed later. Verification work is often carried out across disconnected tools, which makes the process difficult to repeat, audit or defend.

PEZA is built around the investigation as the unit of work rather than around a single detection result.

ACTIVE DEVELOPMENT. The platform is being built incrementally: the investigation workflow, account model and evidence structure come first, and forensic analysis capability depends on integration with validated detection providers. PEZA is not presented as a fully operational forensic detector, and development fixtures or simulated confidence values are not treated as genuine forensic results.
